    INTRODUCTION
3CB BAF Equipment - Equipment of the British Royal Marines Commandos and other UK Armed Forces.
    By 3 Commando Brigade, www.3commandobrigade.com

    DESCRIPTION
The modern Royal Marines Commando or British Army soldier carries a lot of kit in addition to his weapon. This mod aims to recreate some of that equipment.

In current MTP camo, we provide updated combat uniforms, all new Osprey vests, 'Bergen' backpacks, Mk7 helmets, berets and tactical glasses. A huge variety of options enables each player to give their character a unique look on the battlefield, whether it be as an Officer, Forward Air Controller, Medic, Sapper, Signaller, Engineer, Point Man, Grenadier, Marksman, Machine Gunner or just plain Rifleman!

We haven't forgotten support forces either, with new uniforms, vests and helmets for RAF / RN pilots and tank crews.

Also included are man-transportable static weapons with adjustable tripods: 81mm mortar, heavy machine gun, grenade machine gun, and GPMG. Team work is required to efficiently operate these weapons, with players taking gunner, loader and ammo bearer roles. The ammo bearer may bring rounds from a store to the weapon, the loader places the round in the weapon from the outside, while the gunner remains in place and targets the enemy.

Produced primarily for our own use, there is a distinct Royal Marines flavour, but we are also providing generic uniforms and specialist berets representing other British armed forces Regiments for the wider ArmA community to enjoy.

Check the Contents section below for all the details of exactly what is in the pack.

Many of the models used were ported from ArmA 2 and have been modified further by our team. We have also been fortunate to have formed close ties with many developers from outside of 3CB who have been kind enough to donate their work to us for adaptation and inclusion in this mod pack. We are very grateful to them, thank-you all (see Credits section).

European BLUFOR Re-Texture (EUROFORCE) von IndeedPete (v1.14)

    ***** Update *****

IndeedPete veröffentlichte sein European BLUFOR Re-Texture (EUROFORCE) Addon in den Bi-Foren. Das Addon enthält eine Retextur der ArmA3 NATO-Fraktion mit Konventionellen Einheiten und Spezialeinheiten in Altis, -Schwarz, -Wüsten, -Navy, -Winter und Woodland Tarnuniformen.
Das beiliegende optionale EUROFORCE_XEH Addon bietet CBA Extended Eventhandler Support für Bsp. ACE3.

    Zitat

    Overview
This addon features a re-texture of Arma 3's NATO faction, both conventional and special forces in Altis, Black, Desert, Navy, Snow and Woodland camo schemes. It's about a fictional combined European force, founded in 2023. Notable operations are the ending of the Altian civil war in 2026, the deployment during the Balkan wars in 2028 as well as the Altis incident and follow-up events from 2035 until 2037. Today, EUROFORCE operates in over 50 countries on four continents. Notable ongoing operations are the peacekeeping mandate in Israel and Syria, the Japan Airlift, the Saint Petersburg blockade and the assistance mission on the US west-coast. Forces are organised in fleets, each capable of conducting operations by land, sea and air. Their command structure is loosely based on Mass Effect's Systems Alliance. This release comes with a teeny tiny showcase campaign consisting of five quickly thrown together missions about the redeployment on Altis, roughly two months after the events of the M.E.R.C.S. campaign.

The @EUROFORCE_XEH addon provides CBA Extended Eventhandler support which is needed for example in ACE3, for the self interaction menu.
If you use CBA launch your game with @EUROFORCE_XEH in addition to @EUROFORCE, if you don't use CBA then do not run @EUROFORCE_XEH..

    Features
    - Re-Textures of most NATO and AAF vehicles and infantry, including weapons, vests, headgear and backpacks.
    - Altis, Black, Desert, Navy, Snow and Woodland Hex schemes.
    - Altis, Desert, Snow and Woodland conventional forces.
    - Altis, Black, Desert, Snow and Woodland special forces (the "Wolfpack").
    - Navy Military Police (MP) with custom units and vest.
    - Fixed-wings in Light and Dark Grey Triangle pattern.
    - Helicopters in Black, Green and Navy Triangle pattern.
    - Ground vehicles in Altis, Desert, Navy, Snow and Woodland Cloud schemes.
-- Ships in Grey Cloud scheme.
    - Custom rank insignias / fictional rank system. (Loosely based on Mass Effect's Systems Alliance, additional emblems for Techs and Medics.)
    - Country flag insignias for all 28 current EU states plus extra flags for England, Scotland, Wales, Norway, Iceland, Bosnia And Herzegovina, Serbia, Albania, Montenegro and FYROM.
A mini showcase campaign. Nothing fancy, just five straight forward missions around the redeployment on Altis roughly two months after the events in M.E.R.C.S.
    ACE3, Zeus and Alive support.

    Changelog:
    v1.14
ADDED: Another script possibility to disable random insignias.
CHANGED: All uniforms look more plastic now.
CHANGED: Revised Altis and Desert camo colour schemes.
CHANGED: Renamed custom identity "James May" to "James Walker".

    Pianosa! von ItsDonJon (v0.2)

    ***** Update *****

ItsDonJon veröffentlichte seine Pianosa Insel in den Bi-Foren.

    Zitat

    Changelog:
    v0.2
    - The cities of Agira & Belpiano
    - Several military compounds
    - Airport
    - Some ruins arround the island
    - Many trees and bushes and co (additional 30000 objects!)
    - Completly new Satimage(!)

I'm happy to release a first Alpha of my island Pianosa, which i was working on the last few months. Pianosa is an real italian island, which i used as guide for this terrain, but the terrain is still heavily modified for gaming purposes.

    Background:
In the year 2035 the situation in southern europe is getting more precarious then ever before. To help the struggeling south-european countries the EU subventioned them, Italy used that money to improve living conditions on smaller peripheral island and started some new projects on island like Pianosa, e.g. the construction of a new city, the installation of some solar power plants (more to come). Because of the strong wave of refugees from north africa, there are several slum-areas scattered over the island, even in old and historic places like the abandoned prison complex in the center of the island.

In this version nearly 1/5-1/4 is "finished"

The island ist ~10km² big and is relativly flat, not a big surprise, because pianosa is italian for flat.

Well, long story short: This is the Alpha Version 0.1, i hope you like it and if not, PLEASE tell me so! So i can improve it for everyone!

    Thanks
    - Schultz: Without him and his help, this project could never been started
    - Neo: I don't think i need to say, for what i am thankful, but i still will: MAP BUILDER!
    - Giallustio: Thanks for the encourangement and the objects!
    - The whole MapMaker-Skype channel, which helps with every problem: Especially Jake & Paul!

    Refined Vehicles von RedPhoenix (v3.2.0)

    ***** Update *****

    Zitat

After some overwhelming feedback I turned this into a full addon. This includes a roadmap, milestones, and a changelog.

What does this mod aim for?
This mod tries to refine, optimize and perfect the vehicle physics due to totally remade config values, parameters and code.

Does this mod conflict with any other mod?
As far as I know not. This mod only overrides the vanilla A3 vehicles without changing any of its usability or function.

    Special Thanks to:
    - Bohemia for using PhysX
    - Sakura_Chan for his Primer thread ( http://forums.bistudio.com/showthrea...cle-simulation )
    - da12thmonkey and Blu3sman for their tips and explanations
    - Everyone who tests this mod and gives feedback

    Changelog:
    v3.2.0
    - deleted cfgSurface.pbo to reenable sound tails
    - fixed random camo on FIA D-Max
    - fixed gunner seat in D-Max
    - BMW X6 and X6M recieved an updated engine code
    - renamed AA guns of BLUFOR and OPFOR

Dynamic Weather 2 (Script and Addon) von tortuosit (v0.9.7)

    ***** Update *****

    Zitat

I rewrote my old script/mod because basically wind/rain/fog/overcast were not independent. In this rewrite, they are own threads. I'm not progressing too well due to no time and I feel somewhat uncomfortable at some points... about how I wrote it... time will tell. Its WIP and quite early, but works. I'm currently not thinking about MP, this may change. It's done with using from missions/scripting (call via execvm) in mind, but not yet documented and tested. All code open, pbo is just a loader. Usually you can change settings/code and restart mission for changes to apply.
    - WIP
    - SP ONLY
    - MOD usage only (external script calls not yet documented and tested)

    Archive has a (not 100% accurate) readme.txt

    Hi guys,

after 4 years of my computers lifetime I upgraded my GTX570 to a GTX 970. Everybodies darling: MSI GTX 970 (seems to be a topseller). Some good results there. I like it.

    I have an Intel Core i7 2600k 3.4 GHz.

Now I want full action not only against one AI, but maybe 2. ;) - well we all know, CPU bottleneck. I'm not informed about the CPUs and their specs nowadays. Lets say I would be only willing to invest ~EUR 200, but I am expecting at least the double power of the new CPU - is it already useful to watch out for a new CPU or is it too early?

Thoughts? I must say I am pretty happy hardware can be used for a longer time than, say, 15 years ago...

Maybe I should also think about overclocking. That Gigabyte Z68X UD5 mainboard supports any shiny stuff, but I never did any overclocking (because with such things I need to invest some time). And this week I'm definitely not doing it. ~40°C here in western Germany by the weekend :D

    Thx
