I've made some minor changes, and have other additions and changes planned for the future. Before handing this mod over, Pomigit added new Tactical Goggles (a custom model, with three textures) and also made the necessary changes for Zeus compatibility.

    REVISION HISTORY

    • Revision 22SEP14
    Spoiler:
    • Renamed pbo's.
    • Altered p3d and rvmats to reflect new pbo names.
    • Modified uniform and other item display names to be more easily identified in Virtual Ammobox or other applications where the display name is cut short.
    • Changed 'containerClass' from 'Supply10' to 'Supply40' on most uniforms, to bring cargo capacity equal to Bohemia Interactive uniforms.
    • Added black textures for Offroads and created new vehicles.
    • Offroad Cargo is a version where passengers cannot ride in the truck bed. Prevents soldiers from clipping if you'd like to 'attachTo' objects in the back.
    • Removed MX and MXGL models as we now have hiddenSelections for custom black MX versions.
    • Added uniform and gear crates.
    • Changed model for weapons crate.
    • Created a new config.cpp for vehicles.
    • Changed scope to 1 for underwear.
    • This version adds three versions of Tactical Goggles, created by pomigit.
    • This version strives to be Zeus compatible.

I am creating my own mission in the editor, however when playing through the mission, my FPS is dropping down into single figures. When I checked the RPT log I found a lot of spam about an invalid path. I thought that this may relate to a missing file, but I suspect that it may relate to an AI character/squad and their waypoints. Does anyone have any idea what is causing this error as I suspect it is causing the FPS slowdown. I have included an excerpt from the RPT log showing the error.

Hi! I'm looking for a script that can generate "perfect" grid square markers over towns for an insurgency style mission, in this fashion (only the red/green ones solid squares):

    http://i.imgur.com/m5Flmoq.jpg (369 kB)

I've been searching the internet a few times now and I've not managed to find any script like it. Basically, the script should create markers that align with the ingame map grid and it should be usable to generate markers on any map. With this I'm hoping to be able to port an existing Insurgency mission to another map for use within a community I'm in.
Is there a script like this anywhere that I haven't found? I'm assuming there is since many missions have these "perfectly aligned" markers which would be crazy to place by hand, but they all seem to be in the editor.

    Thanks :)

PhanTactical is a community of gamers who meet two times a week to engage in friendly, tactical missions within ArmA 3. Founded in 2012, we’ve come a long way from everyone jumping into Steam chat for communications, and having limited resources in the community. ArmA is the perfect sandbox to combine serious teamwork with the unexpected fun that ArmA offers. No matter what level of skill or tactical knowledge there is a place for you in PhanTactical. Adept at handling an AT Launcher? Lead those who don’t know how. Know how mod or script? Join the mod team and get your work out there. We value someone who is willing to contribute and is agreeable, more than the super soldier who’d rather go it alone.

PhanTactical meets twice a week. Friday at 6:40pm PST , and Saturday at 4:40pm PST. These times are regular and will be the expected time for a match unless something changes it, be that a Joint Operation with another group, or any technical difficulties that can occur. Members are not required to be at all matches, but it is recommended to be at as many as you can. All times are scheduled in the PhanTactical Steam group, the events tab provides a calendar that is priceless for staying up to date on community events. A large part of the community are all the impromptu unofficial matches that members schedule during the weeks. These events go past the ArmA series, all sorts of MMOs, RTSs, and FPSs are played during the week, giving members a place to play their favorite games with like minded people.

PhanTactical is a place for gamers who want to be a part of a community which values each other’s voice and enjoy each other’s company. This is a place for leaders, mission designers, scripters, modders, followers; anyone who wants to have a good time.

New Recruits are inducted the last Thursday and Friday of every month.

I'll start from the top, when I play singleplayer I can play on high settings at 20-30 fps. But when I go to multiplayer and load up..say "Takistan Life" I will get 5-20 fps on very low settings. I only get low fps in multiplayer, not singleplayer. I asked my friend what the problem is and he said that it's something to do with the "networking" or something..I'm not sure. He said it's a build up of network code, not sure if that's true or not. Ahh, one other thing, I play DayZ with the map "Panthera", i play on normal settings and get 25+ fps. I play on chernarus, I get 15+ fps on very low settings. I'm not sure if this is the "networking" build-up, the map or something completely different.

    My Specs -

    CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 2.4 GHz
    GPU - Nvidia GeForce 320M
    RAM - 2GB

    Thanks, Kanga
